GINSENG AND HYPERTENSION: Möller's Total PLUS contains 100 mg titrated Ginseng per dose. There is widespread belief that ginseng raises blood pressure, due to an early observational study. However, the findings of this study were not confirmed by subsequent better-designed studies. A relatively recent (2016) systematic review and meta-analysis of 17 randomized trials showed no or insignificant effect of ginseng on systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure, while evidence of a slight reduction in systolic pressure was found for people with diabetes, metabolic syndrome or obesity .
