After my studies, I started looking for a job. I was looking for something innovative & I finally found it! The idea came from my family since our Hobby was our occupation with herbs & superfoods. The Word "Hippophaes" can describe it perfectly.
So, in 2009 the company Elixirio was founded, with the first planting of Hippophae trees in Greece, in the mountainous area of Konitsa in Ioannina. We now cultivate 1000 Hippophae trees with passion, care & in a completely natural way, without pesticides.
After a lot of research & study, we set up the first superfood processing industry in Greece, where we produce & package a wide range of hippophaes and other Superfood products. Our professional laboratory is equipped with all the necessary documents and licenses required by the state and complies with all the specifications & principles of the HACCP system for food hygiene & safety.
We collaborated with many suppliers of organic products & we created an e-shop, www.ippofaes.gr, in which anyone can order all our products and receive them by courier at their place.
