Salt flower does not contain additives - Common salt contains 2.5% chemical additives, preservatives, flow enhancers, antibodies and some E (if you have such salt in your home, read the product label now)
The salt flower contains natural iodine in the right amounts - Common salt is enriched after treatment with extra iodine.
The salt flower contains less Sodium - Common salt during its high heat treatment until it reaches the form of table (processed), most of the natural minerals are removed from it leaving a product with a higher content of Sodium.
But what does high sodium mean?
The main cause of hypertension and retention is high sodium intake. Processed salt is about 40% richer in sodium than its original natural form. Due to the treatment, it has only 2 of the 92 elements left, namely sodium and chlorine (sodium chloride is the chemical name of the refined salt-NaCl).
