It is produced by extracting raw sesame seeds. It shows great heat resistance and its nutrients remain unchanged at high temperatures up to 177 °C.
A key nutrient in sesame oil are fatty acids, which are rich in omega-6 fatty acids.
It has more monounsaturated than other vegetable oils, while compared to olive oil it has lower percentages of monounsaturated.
