Citronella - 10ml

The essential oil of citronella comes from the distillation of the herb and has a fresh, herbal, woody, lemony aroma. It is used in aromatherapy for colds, flu, neuralgia and is widely used to repel annoying insects in summer.

Use of Citronella Essential Oil:
1. Room repellent for mosquitoes and flies:
In a ceramic device for essential oils (the one that also has a space in its base for reso) add some water, 8 drops of citronella and turn on the reso.

For protection during sleep you can place a piece of cotton or a kitchen sponge in a jar, in which you will have 10 drops of citronella oil. This jar can be placed next to the bed but also in other parts of the house.

Also to avoid chemicals you can fill the empty bottles from your mosquito repellent devices with citronella oil.

To spray the balcony (plants and walls) put half a liter of water, half a liter of white vinegar and 40 drops of citronella oil in a plastic container with a sprayer.
2. Insect Repellent Body Oil:
Add 35 drops of citronella to 100ml of almond oil and apply to the body.
3. Insect Repellent Baby Body Oil:
Add 15 drops of citronella to 100ml of almond oil or chamomile oil and spread it on the child's hands and feet.
4. Insect Repellent Body Lotion:
Add citronella to an unscented body cream and apply to your skin. The dosage for cream with strong action is to mix 40 drops of citronella in 100 ml of cream.
5. Insect Repellent Oil for Pets:
Add a shot of vinegar and 20 drops of citronella to 100 ml of almond oil or sunflower oil. Place the bottle in the refrigerator after shaking and after three days use it as a spread. Then store the container in a shady place.

In addition to citronella, geranium, eucalyptus and lavender essential oils also have insect repellent properties, which can be combined with citronella.

STEAM SHOWERS - INHALS
Face
For dull skin, add 2-3 drops of essential oil to boiling water to detoxify the skin and dilate the pores, thus preparing the skin for cleansing.
For respiratory problems, flu and chest ailments, add 2-6 drops of essential oil to a liter of hot water and inhale for about a minute.
PERFUMING A SPACE
One of the most beautiful applications of essential oils is their slow evaporation when heated in water in a simple clay diffuser. They clean the space from germs, acting as disinfectants and antiseptics, from smoke and any negative energy. Furthermore, by inhaling their aroma, they have a relaxing and toning effect, depending on the oil we use.
BATHROOM
Water has many beneficial properties. With a few drops of essential oils, an immediate beneficial effect is achieved internally, by inhaling, externally on the skin as well as on the vascular system. Pour 0-15 drops of essential oils into a full bathtub, and 6-12 drops into a small or half-full bathtub. The time spent in the bathtub should not exceed 20 minutes
FOOT BATH
In a basin with 3-5 kg ​​of water, pour 6-8 drops of essential oils. A warm foot bath is recommended in winter for cold feet and cool foot baths for swollen and tired feet. Foot baths have reflective effects on the body through reflective zones.
COMPRESSORS
In one I have two liters of water, add 4-5 drops of essential oils. With a linen cloth or cotton we make compresses:
Hot: for gynecological problems, rheumatism, cervical.
Cool: for headaches, varicose veins, swollen irritated skin and inflammations.
PERFUME WATERS
In 100ml of distilled water, add 20-30 drops of essential oils. Leave for 7-12 days in a dark place and then filter it. It is used in dermatitis, skin stimulation, eczema and irritations
SCENTS
In pure alcohol we add essential oils preferably.
MASSAGE
In 100 gr. Vegetable oil (base), add 10 drops of essential oil. Choose the right base and essential oils to mix, according to its properties.
HAIR
About 6 drops of essential oils in the rinse for hair loss, dandruff, weak hair, scalp conditions.
